In light of the recent happenings, my talented friend Alyx tried to summarize everything in drawings as best as she could. And with that, i leave you with this...
Which btw, that little thing on the right is not a rat, it's Simon the Dachshund.

A bone is still a bone
Which reminds me...for all of you who entered her contest, did you ever get your refund? Wasn't it like 5 bucks or something?
Speaking of which, since she mentioned the IRS in that above post, i wonder if she ever reported her "finder's fee" income on her 1040.
If you filed a paypal claim dispute against Anthroholic, you do not need to close your dispute in order for her to issue to refund. Oh and make sure you get your finder's fee back too :)

Some things will just never change
People are finally seeing the true colors behind the pink frills. In true mini-madoff fashion, history is repeating itself again. i started this blog back in July 2010 because i had friends that were constantly being ripped off by Kim@Anthroholic. No one would stand up to her and speak up about it, they figured it was just a few dollars here and there and gave her benefit of the doubt when she came up with her excuses. Mind you, this happened back in 2009!
Anthroholic would constantly talk about her money issues, how long it takes her bank for a credit to show up, how payroll isn't paying her on time yadda yadda. She would requests for CP's from people, but bail out in the end saying she has no money to pay. But on the other hand, going off and buying all things Anthro and posting it on her blog.
i never understood why people never confronted her about not paying up. People need to know the kind of person she is, and so this blog was born. There are no personal attacks, but just stating the experiences of the people who were wronged by her. Upon the launch of this blog, she came forward, apologized and paid up. Then she ran off behind her frilly blog and started offering her personal shopping services.
And you'd think this blog would serve as a lesson to her, but nooooo....there she goes again, ripping people off their hard earned money and using the same old excuses - emails lost (really? Like how?), UPS error, Anthro shipped wrong item/damaged item (Perhaps Anthro should reevaluate their employee's performance if this is happening so frequently according to Anthroholic) etc. This is all finally coming out.
So what does Kim do? She issues a public apology on her blog. Yeah whatever, it's always the "serious family issues" that has been ongoing for the past 2 years. And her response to this blog?
LOL for real. A year later and Anthroholic still has people's money, and we are the weirdos. Go figure.
i'd really like to know how she "made it right".

Cookie. . .Monster?
Would you order several boxes of Girl Scout cookies? Of course you would! Delicious and only 3.50 per box!
3-11-2009
I ordered 2 boxes of samoas, 2 boxes of tagalongs and 1 box of thin mints from (omitted for privacy)!
But then you would pay for them, wouldn't you? Or would you refuse to pay, saying you didn't have the cash, and instead announce your need for new shoes?
3-17-2009
Does anyone have these Pour la Victoire's?
I've decided I need them in my life. Are they TTS? And are they comfy or hurty?
And after receiving this response to your shoe question, would you pay for the cookies?
no what you need is to pay (omitted) for the girl scout cookies before buying shoes
But someone would not and did not.
If she sends you a check payment...
Be prepared for it to be bounced.
Long story short, somebody out there was nice enough to help Anthroholic with another purchase. She paid by check. Lo and behold, the check was bounced. Said person went through hell & high water to get her money plus the bounced check fees back.
Not worth the time and aggravation. Just stating some facts.
Yes, there is so much stuff that went on in her life last year that she conveniently forgot to pay someone. But somehow manages to memorize every item from the anthropologie website and almost bought out the entire catalog. Umm....how about paying the people you owed money first?

Took the cardi and ran with it
Here is another girl's experience with anthroholic. All these stories are true real-life experiences. Anthroholic would take advantage of her financial situation and not pay up for the purchases that people helped her with.
I CP'ed (custom purchased) 2 jcrew cardigans for her and sent them off. She said she'd send me the $ as soon as she had it. She never did, but I felt bad for her since she had $ problems and it wasn't that much, so I never asked why she didn't pay.
Every little bit adds up, even if it's just $10 per item.

The dark side of a girl in love with a store
Ah, Anthropologie. Sweet, feminine, ruffled fantasy. In the world of Parisian cafes and sunlit meadows, there is no place for ugly words like debt, fraud, bounced, unpaid, owed. . .no place at all. Unfortunately, sometimes we must must shake the dew from our petticoats and face reality.
People generally prefer not to stir up trouble. However, when notes are compared, sometimes the realization is made that saying something could have saved others. That is our hope. Read on.
The only real issue I ever had w/ her (Anthroholic) is that I gave her like $20 (plus pp fees) to CP me some necklace and she couldn't find it and was suppposed to refund me. She never refunded my money. I also entered that lottery and never got refunded. I asked liked multiple times but then was like IDGAF about like $30. Still sorta bugged me for awhile.
I don't know what to believe because she told me she had issues with paypal (when refunding me) and then said she mailed a check. I never got the first one and so she mailed me another supposedly. But I never got the check. Then I just gave up trying. She very well could have mailed me a check. Who knows. I honestly wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt (and really still do) ...but now I'm wondering since it sounds like she did this to others??
